With the day coming to a close in another two hours and the time for polling which will end at 6:00PM for the Seemandhra’s region, Mr Bhanwar Lal , the Chief Election Commissioner expressed his happiness at the Voter turn out by the people of Seemandhra ,which was by far better than their Telangana counterparts. He had given the district-wise poll percentage and expressed his views that if all goes well it could touch 80 % by the end of the day. At 4:00 PM the poll percentage is given below and Anantapur topped the list this time with 76%. Despite the sporadic violence Voting was on at a brisk pace and people were seen coming out in large numbers braving the heat and unprecedented rain fall in some places to come and vote. The Maoist high risk areas polling session was closed at 4:00 PM and those who are in the Queue in other places might still get an opportunity to vote even after 6:00 PM depending on the number of people.
