Rosaiah Likely to be Tamilnadu Governor

Former chief minister K Rosaiah is likely to be appointed governor of Tamil Nadu in place of S S Barnala, whose term has run out. The proposed gubernatorial assignment for Rosaiah is part of a larger exercise of appointments to Raj Bhawans.
According to home ministry sources, Uttarakhand governor Margaret Alva is likely to be shifted to Rajasthan to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Prabha Rau. Alva's replacement is likely to be from the northeast. The appointments are expected to be announced shortly. Ministry sources said Delhi Lt Governor Tejinder Khanna, who has been indicted by the Shunglu panel as well as CAG, will continue for the time being.
