Paving way to a major development in Andhra pradesh politics, YSRCP leader Konathala Ramakrishna is likely to join Telugu Desham Party to revive his sagging political career after the defeat of YSCRP in 2014 general elections.

There were also few reports that he would join in BJP but he has chosen to stay mum on this issue. According to a reliable source, it is said that TDP too have understood to give a nod and also ready to give an opportunity to contest in Vishakapatnam MLC elections under local bodies. It is also reported that defection seems to be possible well before June 16 which is set as a deadline for the nominations.

On the other hand, it is known that former PCC chairman Bosta Sathyannarayana decided to join YSRCP who could also be given an opportunity to contest from Vishakapatnam.
