Courts might slam him hard, opponents might lash him harsh... the news about Kejriwal has often be negative for him. But not this time! He has been on the list of world’s 50 greatest leaders by Fortune magazine. Releasing the list for the third time in a row, Fortune has said to have included people who are “transforming the world and inspiring others to do the same.” There were no other Indians on the list including our popular PM. However, South Carolina’s Indian-American Governor Nikki Haley is on the list at 17th place, while Indian-American politician Resham Saujani is at the 20th spot.
Fortune has praised Kejriwal for his attempt to make Delhi free from pollution and corruption. It has even mentioned the odd-even scheme of traffic implemented by Kejriwal as a success. The list released by Fortune has certainly included who’s who on the the stage of world. It was topped by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and was followed by German Chancellor Angela Merkel (2), Myanmar’s fighter Aung San Suu Kyi (3), Pope Francis (4) and Apple CEO Tim Cook (5). The Bangladesh Prime minister Sheikh Hasina is another notable person to be mentioned from the list. She is placed at no.10.
