After signing a MoU with Chhattisgarh state for 1000 mw power supply to Telangana state, KCR urged Chhattisgarh CM Dr. Raman Singh to grant an additional 1000mw power supply to his state and he positively responds to his appeal. Dr. Raman Singh’s urges the Centre to build a radial transmission lines as the existing transmission lines between two states are not capable to carry the additional load.
But, YSR Congress party President Jagan Mohan Reddy said it will take not less than two and half years to get power supply from Chhattisgarh state. He suggests KCR to get the same amount of power supply from the central pool in Ramagundam unit that is located in Telangana state and return the same to NTPC that he is buying from Chhattisgarh state now, so as he can get the power supply immediately to meet the growing demand.
