ISIS militant executes his mother

ISIS has known for its gruesome acts. But in an incident which is supposed to reflect the gory of ISIS, it has set new standards for cruelty. A 21 year old ISIS activist ‘Ali Saqr’ has executed his own mother. Her crime! She tried to convince Ali Saqr to leave ISIS. Lena al-Qasem- mother of Ali Saqr feared that her son would be killed in the war against the coalition forces led by US. So she reportedly asked him to leave the organization and escape with him. Ali Saqr informed of her comments to his superiors, and they immediately asked him to execute her.
The execution was carried out in the Syrian town of Raqqa which is the unofficial capital for ISIS. Lena al-Qasem was publicly executed, right in front of the post office where she worked. She was charged with ‘apostasy’ (abandoning the religious faith). The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) has confirmed the incident along with other activist groups. Though ISIS carries out a lot of beheading and mass shootings, this incident has proved to be a shocker.
