Mamata to Gift Works of Tagore to Hillary Clinton

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee will present works of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore and Swamy Vivekananda to the visiting US Secretary of State Mrs. Hillary Clinton at Kolkata on Monday. Tagore's 'Gitabitan' and 'Gitanjali' along with a collection of the works of Swami Vivekananda will be given to the top US diplomat, sources close to the Trinamool Congress chief said. Incidentally, on Sunday, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore's 151 birth anniversary was celebrated all over the country.
Mrs. Clinton arrived in Kolkata on Sunday on a two-day visit during which she would hold talks with Banerjee and interact with a cross-section of people. The high point of Clinton's visit, her second to the city and first after becoming the US secretary of state, will be her meeting with Banerjee at the state secretariat, Writers' Building, Monday 11 a.m.
