IAS officer LV Subrahmanyam, who is now the Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams, swearing on Lord Venkateswara says that he is totally innocent. He said that he didn't do anything wrong in Emaar Properties case during his tenure as the APIIC Managing Director.
It is to be recalled that Mr. Subrahmanyam's name also figured along with BP Acharya in the chargesheet filed by CBI on Wednesday. Speaking to reporters at Tirupathi, Mr. Subrahmanyam said "I have done no wrong and I'm innocent. I even worked overtime to finish the projects taken up by me as APIIC MD. It is possible that due to workload I might have committed small mistakes, but nothing I have done that is willful or wrong. I met the CBI officers twice and have given them whatever information I had. In spite of that, why they have included my name in the chargesheet, I'm not able to understand." He added, "I have done no wrong and nothing will happen to me. I don't know why all these things are taking place. I don't think they (CBI) are trying to implkicate me in this case, if they do also, Lord Venkateswara is there to take care of me."
