AP Irrigation minister Devineni Uma Maheswara rao attributes Nandigama by-elections victory to his government’s 100 days successful ruling. He said that the huge majority that TDP gets in the by-elections is due to its commitment on its elections promises and for its decision to build the state capital Vijayawada.

He said that people have proved that they have full confidence on CM Chandrababu Naidu and the state government by giving huge majority to TDP in the by-elections. He said that his government is committed to implement every promise made to people including crop loans waiver.

He flayed AP PCC President and former president Raghuveera Reddy and Botsa Satyanarayana for their inability to conduct an elections meeting in Nandigama constituency. He flayed them for trying to distract the people with their false and baseless allegations against the ruling party.

Of course, state government’s decision to build the state capital near Vijayawada may please the people and make them vote for TDP. But, the sympathy wave due to TDP MLA T Prabhakar rao’s death is also main factor that make the people vote for his daughter T Sowmya.

However, Devineni’s observations about Congress party are true. Both the Congress leaders have desperately tried to defame the ruling TDP government with their false allegations, but couldn’t convince the people. In fact, the verdict is a slap on their faces.
