Elections for Delhi Assembly were concluded very peacefully with a turnout of 63-66 per cent out of 1.33 crore voters. Soon after the EC gives clearance to media houses for announcing exit polls, four reports were tabled and all of them predict victory for Aam Admi Party in the elections.
According to latest surveys conducted by four media agencies, Aam Admi Party may get anywhere between 35 to 43 seats out of 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly. The magic number to form the government is 36. So, this time AAP may comfortably form the government on its own without any outside support.
The surveys predict BJP will emerge as second largest party bagging anywhere between23-29 seats out of 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly. Congress party’s position worsens further when compares to previous elections. It may hardly get 0-5 seats this time whereas last time it won 8 seats.
