Congress, TRS and BJP have announced their party candidates for the by-elections of Medak Loksabha constituency. Sunitha Lakshma Reddy (Congress), Prabhakar Reddy (TRS) and Jagga Reddy (BJP) are in the race. Sunitha and Jagga Reddy become rivals after he joins BJP today.
Sunitha is quite confident of her victory in the by-elections because of her good public relations and vast political experience will help her. Jagga Reddy also believes the same. However, he said that if he is elected, he will develop the district brining huge funds from Centre. Prabhakar Reddy is confident because he has strong backing of ruling TRS party and its president KCR.
Out of these three candidates chances of winning elections appears bright for TRS candidate because of the said reasons. KCR has asked his party leaders and ministers to ensure he win with huge majority and not just a win, so that it will prove that his government’s rating has not fallen, but shoots sky high after three months of ruling.
Congress candidate Sunitha Lakshma Reddy may fight for the second place and Jagga Reddy may turn scapegoat as he was roped-in the last minute. Hence, the main fight would be between Congress and TRS parties’ candidates only.
