NEW DELHI: Bhushan Steel said on Sunday that, the chairman of the company, BB Singal had been held guilty by the CBI court under Indian Electricity Act with regard to Bhushan Indusrial Company’s case.

In a regulatory filing the company said that, the CBI court vide order dated September 3, 2016 held Mr. BB Singal, the chairman of the company guilty under Indian Electricity Act, 1910. On submitting the surety bond, Mr. BB Singal had been granted bail and sentence had been suspended for 60 days to enable him to file the appeal against the said order.
