So far, the lawyers representing Jagan Mohan Reddy and other accused in different cases were used to argue on their bail petitions only. But, when the CBI is ready to file charge-sheets in their cases they are seriously opposing it and arguing that CBI can file the charge sheet only after completing its investigation and any attempt to file a charge sheet will harm their clients’ case, which can’t be disclosed at this juncture. They have shown Minister Dharmana Prasada rao filing a petition in high court challenging CBI filing the charge sheet against him as an example. Advocate Uma Maheshwara rao, who represents Vijayasai Reddy appeals the CBI court to order the CBI to file the charge sheet only after completing the investigation. All other lawyers representing other accused also appealed for the same.

However, Balla Ravindranath, the deputy advisor to CBI has argued that there are different aspects, different kind and level of crimes involved in the cases related to Jagan Mohan Reddy. Hence, there should be no objection for filing charge sheets against him anyway.

He said CBI will file the supplementary charge sheet to the first charge sheet No;CC 8/12 in a couple of days and said that CBI has made some arguments in his other cases charge sheeted under 9/12; 10/12 and 14/12 cases. He appealed the court to dismiss the objections raised by the Jagan’s lawyers. He told the court that since the CBI has completed its investigation on Penna Cements, India Cements and Dalmia Cement Companies, it is read to file charge sheets against these 3 companies and the investigation in other companies Lepakshi Knowledge hub, sandoor Power, Indu Projects etc has reached to crucial points.

Hence, CBI is ready to file charge sheets in Jagan’s case that are related with the first 3 companies and rest will be also filed very soon.
