It seems to be a season for the wild fires in the world. while we were having concern about the forest fires that’s destroying the state of Uttarakhand, Canada too seems to be bearing some heat. Canadian oil city of Fort McMurray was almost burned down with the fire that’s sweeping the surrounding forest. Almost 88,000 people were evacuated from the town to safe places with more than 1600 structures being burnt down. The Canadian government has deployed army to control the fire. More than 7000 hectares of forest is said to be charred by the fire. The production of oil was also said to be severely affected by the ravaging fires around. In toto, the present wild fire is said to be Canada’s costliest natural disaster.
