Gujarat bus accident- Death toll rises to 41

In a major mishap that shook the state of Gujarat, 41 people were feared to be killed and many more injured in a bus accident. The accident took place in the district of Navsari in southern Gujarat. A full packed bus was heading towards the town called Ukai before the disaster took place. The driver who took a sharp turn on the bridge above Purna river was unable to control the bus. The bus has eventually plunged into the river leaving many of the passengers dead. The government has immediately announced a compensation of 4 lakh for the family of the deceased, but that may not be of much help to relive the grief.
