AP Cabinet emergency meeting summoned

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has summoned an emergency meeting of his cabinet ministers today to discuss about the consequent developments of Revanth Reddy’s issue and action plan to be adopted to counter the Telangana government. The cabinet is likely to pass a resolution appealing the Centre to implement section-8 that entrusts the law and order controlling powers to Governor Narasimhan in the joint capital Hyderabad.

Chandrababu Naidu is going to New Delhi today evening and will present the resolution to the Home Minister Rajnath Singh. He will also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and complain against Telangana CM KCR and his government for their alleged involvement in his phone tapping and some other serious issues related to Revanth Reddy’s case.

But, it would be a very tricky situation for the Centre to take any decision in this issue otherwise, it would affect the BJP back in the AP and Telangana states. Hence, it may try to make compromise both Chief Ministers, instead of taking side of anyone.
