The AP Budget-2012-13 is anti-people and burdening people with taxes, says the Telugu Desam Supremo Chandrababu Naidu. Commenting on the budget presented in the state assembly today, the TDP president said the public debt had shot up by Rs.1.10 lakh crore since the congress government came to power in the state.
He said the government made huge allocations for Jalayagnam in the budget but never spent them fully leaving the program unattended and incomplete year after year.' The entire power generation program in the state has come to a stand still as the Kiran government focus is more on power purchase to meet the crisis and peak demands. Contending that budget allocations for various departments were strange and astonishing the Government had levied huge taxes, Naidu said that the state had slipped to No-10 position in the per capita income.
Babu said the Kiran administration was bluffing the innocent educated unemployed in the name of Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu." Even the Tuition fee reimbursement program had become a big farce," he added. TDP president demanded that the Kiran Government should disclose the total amount spent on BC welfare in the last eight years and charged that the SC/ST sub plans were not properly implemented.
