Second thoughts on Assembly meetings?

If reports are to be believed, AP government is having second thoughts on conducting its winter Assembly sessions at Nagarjuna University in Guntur. According to latest reports, government is planning to conduct the meetings at Hyderabad only keeping in view of several factors like scarcity of accommodation to Ministers and MLAs, additional burden of providing security to them etc.

Speaker Dr. Kodela Shivaprasada rao, who came for an inspection of Nagarjuna University to have an idea whether it suits for conducting the meetings or not, has expressed his satisfaction and said Daiken Hall in the university, is sufficient for holding the meetings. He said he will write a letter to CM Chandrababu Naidu within three days. Now, after three days reports appear in the media that government is planning to conduct the assembly meetings at Hyderabad. However, an official word yet to come from the government on this matter.

If, the government find it difficult to the Assembly meetings at Guntur, then it may even feel very difficult to shift the government to Vijayawada in the near future for the same reasons. If government revokes its decision, it may send a wrong message to the people of the state.
