36 were killed in an accident

Afghanistan, Kabul: An Afghan official said that, at least 36 passengers including women and children had been killed when their bus bumped into a fuel tanker in southern Zabul province.The accident took place on the highway, which links the capital city of Afghanistan and the southern city of Kandahar, in Shar- E Safa district.


The spokesperson of the provincial governor is Zabul, Gul Islam Seyal said that, “More than 25 are seriously wounded and some of them are in critical conditions”. He blamed that the drivers of the bus as well as the fuel tanker were reckless. He also said that, the authorities would transfer the critical patients to the neighboring Kandahar province.
