TCLP serves a notice of breach against CM

HYDERABAD: A notice of Breach of Privilege would be served against T Harish Rao, the legislative affairs minister and K Chandrasekhar Rao, the chief minister of Telangana by the Congress Legislature Party of the state for not calling for an assembly and the legislative council sessions during the last week in the month of September.
In Telangana state legislative council, Mohammad Ali Shabbir, the opposition leader told the media, “The Business Advisory Committee comprising the leaders of all parties in two legislative bodies was assured by the legislative affairs minister and the Chief Minister that they will convene the monsoon session from 20th of September”, adding that, however, the assurance given in the BAC was forgotten by them conveniently and discontinued the assembly to lubricate an ordinance passing on new districts.
