Ramayana is Not Fiction - Its True!

We all know Ramayana as a great epic. Some people may raise questions such as Did such people really exist? Was goddess Sita really kidnapped by the evil Ravana? Did a ghastly war really take place?
Earlier such questions were usually suppressed by preventing people from questioning God. Today I want to tell all those seeking answers to these questions that, its true! Ramayana is a narration of reality. You don’t believe me? Then, check it out for yourself. To gain proof of Ramayana you might have to work hard, are you ready for that? If you go to Ayodhya, the kingdom of King Rama, you will find a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is said that, this is the place where Lord Hanuman waited for Lord Rama to return from his 14 year long exile. You will find traces of Ramayana not only in India but, also in Nepal. If you have ever been there, I hope you have not missed visiting the Janaki temple in Janakpur. Janaki as you may know is another name of Goddess Sita. I have more proof for those who are not satisfied with the facts above. When Lord Rama went on exile with his wife and his brother, he set up a small hut for shelter.

Its called Panchvati. If you explore places surrounding Nashik you are sure to find Panchvati. In the same area, there is Tapovan. This is the place where Laxmana is said to have met Surpanakha. When Jatayu was attacked by the Ravana when the former tried to rescue Goddess Sita, he fell in a place called Lepakshi, in Andhra Pradesh, India. The place gets its name from the incident itself. It is believed that Lord Rama uttered Le Pakshi [meaning rise bird] while granting liberation to Jatayu. There is a large foot print in that area which signifies that Lord Hanuman had been there. You may question me about the Ram sethu. For proof of this bridge you will have to go under water. With time, the bridge is berried under water. So, can you swim? The Koneswaram temple in Sri Lanka, dedicated to Lord Shiva is an example of Ravana’s undivided faith in the Lord.

The list of evidences has not ended yet! The Kenniya wells built near this temple are still intact. Sita Koutwa, the place where Ravana first took Sita is now a popular tourist spot in Sri Lanka. From here he took her to Ashok Vatika which gained popularity for being the most beautiful garden on earth. You will also find the foot prints of Lord Hanuman who came in a giant form to Sri Lanka. The legend narrates the story of Lord Hanuman putting fire to some parts of Ravana’s kingdom. You will find that the ground there is a little blackish than other surrounding parts. You can guess what could have made it like that. Do you know where Goddess Sita underwent the Agni Pariksha? It is a village called Divurumpola. At that spot today, there’s a tall tree where all the disputes of the village are discussed and solved. Do you now believe that Ramayana is not a fiction? If you still don’t, then you must visit these places once.
