The Arizona Telugu Association (AZTA) has organized the annual “Diwali-2011” celebrations on 10/29/2011 Saturday, where lot of the local talent have come forward to sing, dance and act to mesmerize the AZ Telugu Community in Phoenix at Indo-American cultural center, Phoenix.

This function has provided an opportunity to the Telugu people of Arizona, to not only spend a music-filled evening of fun but also to showcase their talent, and connect back to the cultural roots.

Kids and many others performed in a professional standard and displayed their talent. Mr. Venkat Kommineni who is the current president of Telugu Association performed a mono act “Dhuryodhan Mayasabha” episode, which was a great highlight to the evening as well.

The event was a grand success with quality cultural programs, kids drawing, Halloween costumes, Bingo, and Diwali crackers.

This is a night of entertainment that the Arizona Telugu people will cherish for times to come and would remember to come back for more next year.

President Mr.Venkat conveyed his special appreciation to all AZTA board members and others Anand Sabapathy, Lakshman Peela, Suresh Pattipati, Dr. Vasudeva Atluri, Sudhakar Gopal, Sagar Mitta, Jaya Rayaprolu and Srinivas Gottipati for their dedication to make this event a grand success.
