Telugu Alliances of Canada (TACA) celebrated Christmas and New Year in Toronto at Scarborough Citadel on 17th December 2011. First time in the history of Telugu community in GTA more than 200 people participated in the function and spend the evening with joy and merriment. Arun Kumar Layam and George Puvvada welcomed the attendees. The event began with Christmas carols and continued with performances like dance, piano playing by kids. Testimony was delivered by Brother Kesavan and Christmas message was conveyed by Pastor Benjamin Devadason and the event was concluded with vote of thanks by Abdul Munaff and Sudir Chidipi. Christmas and New Year Cakes cutting was done by all children followed by authentic delicious south Indian dinner. All the attendees applauded organizers for the grand success of the event. In this event Gangadhar Sukhavasi TACA President, Ramachandra Rao Duggina General secretary who actively participated, organized and did all the background work with the cooperation of George Puvvada, Sudhir Chidipi, Daniel, Shanti Patel and Sneha to make this event successful. TACA directors Aparna Koripella, Srinivas Bachina helped to arrange the food for the event.
