Pushpa 2 The Rule movie released on 5th December 2024 with heavy priced premieres on 4th December. During premiere in Sandhya 70 MM theatre at RTC 'X' roads in Hyderabad, a stampede occured when fans gathered there got to know that Allu Arjun has arrived to watch the film. 

In this unfortunate stampede, a woman was killed and her two kids have been fighting for their lives. Telangana Police and Government started facing huge amount pressure to take action against the movie team and Allu Arjun. Now, the police have booked a case against Allu Arjun and his team. 

And Telangana Government has decided to not give permission to benefit shows to any big film anymore. Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy has announced this decision to media and stated that the unfortunate incident should never repeat and hence, the government has taken such a decision. 

Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of Pushpa 2 The Rule have stated that they will take care of the family who have been deeply hurt in this incident. But Delhi Human Rights Commission has decided to take the matter seriously and conduct an investigation into it.
