Heroine Anushka and hero Vijay starrer Telugu movie "Puli Veta", a dubbed version of Tamil blockbuster "Vettaikaran" is all set to be released in the first week of March 2011. The Telugu version "Puli Veta" has been produced by art director turned producer MV Gopala Rao and directed by Babu Sivan. Its music has been composed by Vijay Anthony and the Tamil version is said to have grossed a whopping 70 crore revenue collection.
Speaking about "Puli Veta", its producer Gopala Rao said "Its audio, which was released recently has been a hit and I'm sure that the film will also be a grand success." Real star Srihari has played an important role of a sincere police officer in "Puli Veta". The other cast includes Jeeva, Ravi (Arundhati fame), Sayaji Shinde, Ghouse and pthers. Dialogues are by Sashank Vennalakanti, editing by VT Vijayan, while lyrics have been penned by Bhuvanachandra, Vennelakanti and Vanamali.
