Analysis :

Pilla Zamindar is a pretty good movie and comes with a worthy message.  It’s not a great script but the narration and treatment is very fizzy, particularly Nani’s performance.  There are several entertaining points in the movie, especially in the first half where the pace of the movie is swift with petty witticism and humor. The real drama unfolds in the second half where the lead character starts consolidating for fulfilling his dream.

Director Ashok has done a reasonably good job in engaging the audience in a not so new tale. He deserves lot of credit as he did not deviate from his main plot even thought there are several characters. Amidst retaining the humor and comedy flavor, Ashok managed to steal the show towards the end with his heart-touching scenes. What’s good about the movie is the storytelling – the way Ashok wrote the screenplay and the way he etched the characters were really touching. The second half in Pilla Zamindar is also entertaining but it comes with lot of melodrama and as such there was more focus on human values and self discipline.

TeluguOne Perspective :

Pilla Zamindar movie explains the concept of human relations and says that true happiness lie in effective human relation. And Askok needs to be patted for his treatment. Albeit it’s a mediocre story, the director has managed to weave a well-thought-of tale in the form of creating enjoyable characters. But that’s not all. The movie also suffers from few backdrops like immaturity in dealing romantic track between Nani and Hair Priya.

There are hardly any romantic scenes between the two and this makes the movie a touch boring. Also, few scenes need to be edited in the second half where there’s a sub plot. There are couple of unnecessary songs but barring that, Pilla Zamindar is a pretty good outing and is mainly targeted towards B and C centers.  The praiseworthy part of Pilla Zamindar are the dialogues. Writer Chandrasekhar did a laudable job. Few dialogues in the second half are very touching and remind you of the human values.

Performances
Nani gets better with films and roles. And Pilla Zamindar is just a classic illustration of the kinds of script and roles he’s zeroing on. It’s Nani all the way and he has done well to shoulder the responsibility.

Hari Priya is hardly there in the movie and Bindu Madhavi is only in 2 or 3 scenes and wonder why she accepted this movie.  Rao Ramesh and Dhanraj have done well.

Final Word
Pilla Zamindar review sounds OK and the movie is worth your time and money. Nani once again steals the show with his naturally flowing performance
