The movie is all about the prevalent corruption in our country. It mainly deals with the situation, where no work can be done without a middleman (otherwise called a 'Broker') and the circumstances leading to such situation. Ganapathi is one such Broker (RP Patnaik) who is well connected with political leaders and government officials. Ganapathi gets done all sorts of works for people who come to him, on a commission basis. He doesn't care whether the work he undertakes is legal or illegal, he's only concerned about how much commission he got for doing it. Because of his clandestine dealings, a flyover collapses and his son gets killed in the mishap. Even then, Ganapathi doesn't realize what his greed for commission has led to. Disgruntled over this, his wife too deserts him. Here comes a honest officer Dharmateja (Srihari), who brings a change in Ganapathi. A reformed Ganapathi tries to compensate for his misdeeds, how he succeeds, is to be seen on the silver screen!
Analysis :
Direction: Flick's diector RP Patnaik also directed a movie named "Andamaina Manasulo" in the past. "Broker" is his second directorial venture in Telugu. Obviously, he's has a good grip over the film direction. The film would have been still better, had its screenplay a bit more gripping. Though the first half seems to be slow, it takes up momentum gradually and engrosses the audience in the second half. Last half hour is the best in this movie. Production values are good.
TeluguOne Perspective :
Acting: RP Patnaik has already proved his mettle as an actor previously by playing a blind hero's role in the movie "Srinu, Vasanthi, Laxmi". He performed equally good in this movie also. Mayuri, Archana and Keerthi Chawla have done justice to their respective roles. Real star Srihari's role has provided ample support to the film, while Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam's comedy failed in doing the same.Music: Its all the way RP's flick and he has provided the best possible music he can in this movie. All the songs are good as well as the re-recording.Cinematography: Camera work is very nice. Sharath's photography isn't taxing on the eyes.Dialogues: Experienced writer Harinadha Rao has come out with meaningful and befitting dialogues in this movie.Lyrics: Literary standards in the songs penned by Chaitanya Prasad in this movie are good.Editing: Uddav's editing too is good.Art: Satisfactory.Choreography: Choreography provided by Raghu is impressive."A good watchable movie devoid of double meaning dialogues, songs, obscene and unbelievable fight scenes. A neat and clean attempt has been made to show the society in a mirror with plausible remedies to get rid of its ailments. If you wish to nurture a new genre of good films, watch this movie."
