Updated : Jan 18, 2023
Thalapathy Vijay's latest blockbuster Varisu is produced by Dilraju under the banner of Sri Venakteswara Creations. Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead and Vamshi Paidipally directed the film.
Recently in a media interview, director Vamsi reacted strongly to some people commenting that this movie, which was released in Telugu and Tamil languages as a gift of Sankranti festival, is like a serial.
He said that hero Thalapathy Vijay is one of the top star heroes in India, but even so, he works hard for every film, especially rehearses very hard for each and every scene, dance steps and fights.
He said "why are degrading serials?. Everyone in your and our home watching them and our mother and grandmother getting engrossed by the serials. It is also a creative job, please don't degrade serials."
He said that if we think to drag someone down, we are demeaning ourselves and we should remember that by thinking negatively and throwing mud at others, it destroys ourselves.
He said that he left his job in software and came here to make films. After coming here, he has worked with many great actors and technicians and he will never forget the many things he learned from them.
He added that now he knows what he is and what he wants to say.
