ZEE5 has been coming up with some interesting content in all languages. In recent times, majority of Telugu web content from the OTT platform has been finding critical acclaim and audiences support. Now, Pradeep Maddali, the director based from Hyderabad, who directed Sarvam Shakthi Mayam series has come up with Vikkatakavi series. Talented actor Naresh Agastya and beautiful actress Megha Akash have come together in leading roles for this series. Also, this is the first web series based on Telangana interiors. 

Plot:

In the Kingdom of Amaragiri, people who enter Nallamalla forest lose their memories mysteriously. Villagers believe that an old curse by their deity as the cause behind their misery. A young detective Ramakrishna(Naresh Agastya) is appointed to find the reason behind this mystery by a Professor. Princess Lakshmi (Megha Akash) starts to help him in finding clues and unravel the secrets.  With each secret exposed, he starts to unravel the reasons and truths behind these legends. Analysis:

Vikkatakavi starts engaging us from the first frame itself. The series kick starts with an intriguing mystery and the writing keeps escalating the stakes while peaking our interest behind the reasons for such a mystery. As we delve into the details being uncovered by the leads, we start to think about the societal hindrances and blind beliefs that are being used as an advantage by some vested interests. 

Villagers gullibility and their trust has been portrayed well by the makers. Director Pradeep Maddali is able communicate the interesting story in a highly intriguing and engaging way. He did not hestitate in taking about important elements and at the same time made sure that nothing ends up as a lesson. He kept audiences glued to the story and after the twists are unveiled we get a beautiful and intrusive look into our own lives and belief system. 

Naresh Agastya proved again that he is a good performer and his screen presence carries forward the series along with stunning visuals and production values. Megha Akash is cute and beautiful throughout. Her performance also adds to the overall feel of the series. Every performer is able to give their best enhancing the feel of the written material. 

Producer Ram Talluri's vision in supporting such a content on a lavish scale needs to be praised. He is able to understand the vision of the director and work closely with such a talented team to produce this intriguing series. Shoeb Siddiqui's cinematography and Ajay Arasada's music are praiseworthy too. 

In Conclusion: 

Vikkatakavi is a good watch with engaging suspense and thrilling elements.
