Vidya Balan has become a nationwide sensation with her stunning performances in films like Parineetha, Munnabhai Lageraho, Kahani, Bhool Bhulaiya. She has a huge fan following for her gracefulness and boldness as well. But now, her father P R Balan is debuting as an actor in Twinkle Khanna's production. 

Yes, the actress's father has been offered a role Mr Banker in the film, Go Noni Go. The film stars veteran actress Dimple Kapadia in the title role, Noni. The movie is based on a short story, "Salaam Noni Appa" written by Twinkle Khanna. She has decided to make it into a feature film as a producer, too. 

Manav Kaul, Rohan Mehra are also cast in the film. Interestingly, producer-director-host Karan Johar has voiced the Red Fiat that Noni character drives in the film. Movie is directed by Sonal Dabral and co-produced by Sameer Nair, Atul Kasbekar and Tanuj Garg. The movie premiered at MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024. 

There the team introduced P R Balan from the crowd and they shared that Vidya Balan thought it was a joke and ridiculous idea for her father to act. But he agreed to do the part and asked them to call him directly and not his daughter. 

He expertly managed to pull it off as per the team. As per the reports, crowd present at the film screening gave him a good round of applause for his performance. Vidya Balan is set to reprise her role as Manjulika in upcoming Bhool Bhulaiya 3 with Madhuri Dixit.
