Varun Tej has been delivering flops with highly underwhelming films. Even though he is choosing interesting scripts in different genres, he is unable to collaborate with skilled and talented directors. He has decided to go with Palasa fame, director Karuna Kumar for his next, Matka. 

And this move has helped him to comeback big time. From the recently released teaser, we can say that the actor has given his 100% to give a convincing performance as Matka Vasu. His character needed to adapt for changes in timelines from young age to older age. And he is able to convince with his act. 

His performance is so believable and engrossing that the teaser is trending at No.1 position on social media. It even hit 8 million views on YouTube and it has become current talk of the town. After delivering such duds at the box office, the actor looks set to give a success with Matka on 14th November. 

Nora Fatehi, Meenakshi Chaudhary are playing prominent leading roles in the film. If the film ends up being a successful film at the box office, Varun Tej might try even many more films supporting out of the box thinking within commercial format.
