Rowdy Vijay Deverakonda is recently came up with Family Star and it disappointed everyone. The actor's much awaited project with Jersey fame Goutam Tinnanuri is also in the production stage. Tentatively titled VD12, the movie will showcase Vijay as a spy agent. 

The makers began shooting in April and almost completed most part of the shoot. In the beginning on July, the dynamic duo of Vijay Devarakonda and director Gowtham Tinnanuri embarked on a month-long schedule in the scenic locales of Sri Lanka.

Srilanka schedule of VD12 will be completed by this month end. Total 90% shoot will be completed. Few talkie portions, one major fight sequences will be left to shoot. Vijay Deverakonda loom and transformation is the major highlight.

Now, the important information abiut casting revealed. Satyadev will be seen playing an important supporting role in the film. While the nature of his role is shrouded in secrecy, it is believed to be a pivotal one which changes the course of the narrative.

Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander known for instant charbusters is scoring the music. The makers locked Bhagyashri Borse as female lead.

VD12 is being bankrolled by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Srikara Studios is presenting the movie.
