Actress Trisha Krishnan's Mom Unni Krishnan says that she had fun working with her daughter for an ad it seems. Directed by Vijay, Trisha shared screen space with her mom Unni Krishnan for an ad film - basmati brand, in Chennai. Trisha's mom Unni Krishnan said, “it was fun working with Trisha who was looking so easy in front of the camera. I was awkward though, but the director has made me comfortable”. What's more, the mom-daughter duo even dubbed for their own voice since the concept was apt for them. And in Hindi, Vijay shot the same ad with  Soha Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore.

 

 

But how come Vijay managed to have Trisha and her mom on screen since many filmmakers are trying to do so but failed, “I worked with Trisha for my debut movie 'Kireedom' and the client for whom I shot the ad also knew me well. They requested me to ask Trisha and her mom to feature in this add and when I asked them, they liked the concept and agreed”, explains Vijay.
