Vishal and Priya Bhavani Shankar starrer ‘Rathnam’ is jointly produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam under the banners of Stone Bench Films and Zee Studios. Action director Hari has directed this movie released by CH Satish Kumar and K Raj Kumar in Telugu under the banner of Sri Siri Sai Cinemas. The movie is set for release on the 26th of this month. Vishal addressed Telugu media today.

 *Distributor Satish said,* “I’m happy to acquire the rights of Vishal’s Rathnam movie for Telugu states. Vishal sir’s movies connect well with the audience. We are expecting that Rathnam is going to be a big hit. This movie has Hari’s mark action and emotions. We earlier had seen racy screenplay with heavy action in Hari’s movies. Other than racy screenplay, and action, this movie has good content. It has emotion and sentiment that will connect to the family audience. I hope it will become a big hit this summer.  *Vishal said,* “The entire media is like a family to me. They have been supporting me for the last 19 years. I owe you all my apologies. Especially to Narsimha Reddy College management staff and students. We could not come yesterday, due to some unavoidable reasons. Perhaps, god has other bigger plans. I assure to hold the film’s success event in the college and meet the students over there. I was advised by my doctor not to go outside. I have 109 stitches in my body. But nothing can stop me from promoting my movies. The reason I came here is for distributor Satish who believed in me and bought the film. This is my third film with Hari, after Pooja and Bharani. Rathnam is a perfect family entertainer with action episodes. 

I hope the movie will give good profits. Mark Anthony was a 100 Cr film. I have the same belief in this movie. I got to work with DSP for the first time. He provided wonderful music, and his BGM is a big asset. I watched the movie with re-recording, and it gave me an amazing experience. I feel proud and confident. I need to thank dialogue writer Rajesh, because of whom, the movie looks like a straight Telugu movie. I thank Aditya Music for collaborating with us. I should really thank my cast and crew.

Hari is known for showing heroes in massy ways. He gives strong characterizations for heroines as well. There will be a shock, after half an hour after the movie. It’s a turning point and a USP of the movie. I can’t reveal much, but it’s all worth your money. I want to provide education to 2 girls from Andhra Pradesh. My wish of becoming a director is fulfilling with Detective 2. We are soon leaving to London to start the shoot. Go watch Rathnam with your family, it will entertain you for sure."
