Suriya flew into Vizag for a grand Kanguva's Telugu pre-release event on 27th October. At the event, he talked about Telugu big stars and he shared some interesting tidbits as well. He stated that Mahesh Babu was junior to him in school. He also stated that he loves Mahesh's attitude on screen. 

He did imitate Pawan Kalyan's popular gesture and Allu Arjun Pushpa gesture while talking about them. Also Suriya shared that he loves Jr. NTR for his perfection in diction and command over language. He remembered his association with Allu Aravind for releasing Ghajini in Telugu with made him this popular in Telugu states as well. 

Later, he shared that Megastar Chiranjeevi personally congratulated him when he received National Award. Suriya remembered the time when Chiranjeevi invited him for dinner and cooked, served himself to him. He also revealed that Chiranjeevi's Blood Bank has been the inspiration behind his Agaram Foundation that is supporting 6000 kids education first hand. 

He remarked that he admires both Prabhas and Ram Charan for achieving Global success with Indian Regional Cinema. Kanguva directed by Siva is releasing on 14th November worldwide. Disha Patani is playing leading lady role with Bobby Deol in a prominent role. K.E. Gnanavelraja produced the film on a massive scale.
