Srikanth Odela life has Brochevarevarura connection: Burned certificates?

Director Srikanth Odela, who achieved a major success with his film Dasara starring Natural Star Nani, shared some intriguing insights during the pre-release event of Nani's latest film, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.

At the event, Srikanth revealed that he has a deep admiration for director Vivek Athreya and his work, noting that Atreya’s films resonate deeply with audiences. Srikanth recounted his personal struggles with academics, explaining that he failed his intermediate exams.

His father had planned for him to pursue a B.Tech if he could pass Inter, but he deliberately failed a subject to avoid this path. Despite his efforts, he was still pressured to complete a B.Tech, leading him to burn his intermediate, tenth, and seventh-grade certificates in frustration.

Srikanth pointed out that a similar scene appears in Vivek Athreya's ’s film Brochevarevarura. Reflecting on this, he humorously commented, "Who is this guy, he wrote my life scene."

The director who once burned his certificates with confidence went on to make his directorial debut Nani's 'Dasara', grossing 100 crores and a Filmfare Award for Direction.
