Simbaa tickets free for those who plant saplings

Simbaa, directed by Murali Manohar, stars Anasuya and Jagapathi Babu in the lead roles. The film, which features a story by Sampath Nandi, is co-produced by Sampath Nandi and Rajender. Simbaa is set to release on August 9. To mark the occasion, a pre-release event was held on Saturday, with former Rajya Sabha member Santhosh Kumar as the guest.
During the event, the director became emotional and shed tears on stage. He spoke about the importance of protecting nature, using the current situation in Wayanad, Kerala, as an example. He emphasized that when nature becomes angry, it can lead to devastating consequences, and highlighted the need for tree protection and reforestation. Murali Manohar’s film, Simbaa the Forest Man, is being released at a time when the forest area on Earth is diminishing, with more trees being cut down than planted.
Actor Srinath, who attended the event, offered free tickets to those who sent him a message about planting saplings. Santosh Kumar supported this initiative and also promised to provide tickets in exchange for planting trees.
Director Murali Manohar expressed his emotions on stage, reflecting on his film journey and the support of his team and family. He shed tears while recalling the encouragement from his family. Murali Manohar studied film courses at the London Film School and worked in production companies for two indie films in London before returning to India to make short films. Ha has worked as assistant for Sampath Nandi and now, he is making his debut as a director with Simbaa.
