Maverick Filmmaker SS Rajamouli is now gearing up for superstar Mahesh Babu's film tentatively titled SSMB 29. Mahesh Babu already has the Hollywood cutout and now the actor is trying out best version of himself.

The makers locked the ace technicians for the film. With a lot of speculation around, Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu will interact with the media before commencing the shoot. It is known that SS Rajamouli is currently in Japan for RRR screening.

The director spoke about SSMB29, he said ""We completed the writing and we are in the pre-production process. Only hero is locked, his name is Mahesh Babu. He is very handsome. Hopefully we finish the film a little bit fast and during the release I will bring him here."

Rajamouli will direct Mahesh Babu in a globe-trotting action-adventure, with the star playing an adventurer. Mahesh will work for the next two or three months to achieve the appearance that the director envisioned. The shoot might start in June 2024.

American-Indonesian actress Chelsea Islan is reportedly playing the female lead. PS Vinod of Panja and Sita Ramam fame handling cinematography. Tammiraju will be handling the editing works.

Mohan Nath Bingi of Aakashavaani and Adipurush fame will be taking care of production design. Kamal Kannan RC who collaborated with Jakkanna for Eega and Baahubali 2 VFX will be acting as VFX supervisor.

As usual, MM Keeravaani will be scoring the music for the film which will be at international level. KL Narayana of Kshana Kshanam and Hello Brother fame will be producing this huge project on a grand scale with mammoth budget.
