Rana Daggubati has been absent from leading roles in Telugu cinema for a while, focusing instead on film production and the web series Rana Naidu. However, he is set to return to the big screen and is currently negotiating roles in a few upcoming films.

Notably, he is attached to a project with Baahubali producers Arka Media Works, which has been in pre-production for some time. This film, directed by debutant Kishore, is described as a horror thriller with significant entertainment and emotional elements.

The final script has been completed, and shooting is expected to commence after Dasara. KGF's Srinidhi Shetty will star as the lead actress. In addition to the Arka Media Works project, Rana Daggubati is working with director Teja on an action drama titled Rakshasa Rajyam, with filming set to begin soon.

Rana is also exploring opportunities in a couple of other Telugu films, expanding his involvement in the industry. Moreover, Rana Daggubati is set to play the lead antagonist in Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Vettaiyan, which is scheduled for a Diwali release this year.
