Pushpa has created a huge sensation upon release just on the strength of hero's charcterisation. More than anything, performance of Allu Arjun earned cult following for the film all over. The actor won National Award for his performance and in Northern Markets, the movie has been sensational. 

Now, Pushpa 2 The Rule theatrical business and non-theatrical business figures are shocking the Industry. While Mythri Movie Makers did not release any official numbers, some industry insiders have stated that the theatrical rights are overall valued at Rs.640 crores. 

In AP/TS markets it has been valued at Rs.220 crores. Northern Markets are expecting it to be smash hit like KGF Chapter 2 and Baahubali 2. It has been valued at Rs.200 crores and in Karnataka - Rs.30 crores, Kerala - Rs.20 crores and Tamil Nadu - Rs.50 crores. In the Overseas markets also, movie rights are valued at Rs.120 crores. 

This is record level business for any Indian Film and Telugu Film. As far as Non-theatrical rights go, Pushpa 2 The rule has secured Rs.275 crores deal from Netflix and Music rights yielded Rs.65 crores, Satellite rights Rs.85 crores. In total, the movie is valued at Rs.1065 crores approximately, even before release. 

Theatrically, it has to collect a minimum gross of Rs.1300 crores to be in profits, according to these values. Well, distributors seem to be betting for the film to cross Rs.1500 crores at the box office. But director Sukumar did not really deliver with Arya 2 after a smashing success like Arya.

We have to wait and see, how he will handle Pushpa 2. Rashmika Mandanna is playing leading lady role while Fahadh Faasil is back as antagonist. Devi Sri Prasad is composing music and the composer as already stated that first half itself is ticket worthy. Pushpa 2 will release worldwide on 5th or 6th December 2024.
