Producer confirms: The Paradise not to clash with Peddi

In a recent media interaction during the success celebrations of Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthy, producer Sudhakar Cherukuri addressed the ongoing speculations regarding a box office showdown between Nani’s The Paradise and Ram Charan’s Peddi. The producer firmly stated that a clash between the two high-profile projects is not on the cards, prioritizing a healthy release window for both films.

Both have announced their release dates already and clash has been long been in discussion among Industry insiders and fans. The Paradise is scheduled for 26th March 2026 and Peddi for 27th March 2026 release, respectively. Sudhakar explained that the industry has already witnessed a heavily cluttered release schedule during the recent Sankranti season, and the team is keen to avoid a similar situation during the upcoming summer period.

He emphasized that while the production of The Paradise is progressing smoothly and according to the planned schedule, the makers are conscious of the distribution landscape. "We have already seen a heavy rush for Sankranti, and we don't intend to repeat that in the summer," the producer remarked. He further noted that discussions are currently ongoing to ensure a smooth release for both films.

Highlighting the camaraderie within the industry, Sudhakar Cherukuri mentioned that since there is ample gap during the summer season and many of the stakeholders are friends, they will coordinate to ensure each film gets its due space. By opting for a strategic release rather than a direct confrontation, the makers of The Paradise are looking to maximise box office returns for both Pan-India summer releases with huge anticipation.
