Jallikattu Inspires Pawan Kalyan
Updated : Jan 23, 2017
Tamil Nadu youth stunned central government with peace protests across the state with a plea of lifting ban on Jallikattu. Finally, the government released on ordinance to conduct the sport. Apparently, this ‘Jallikattu Movement’ has inspired cine actor and Jana Sena Party chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan to fight against central and state governments over special status for Andhra Pradesh.
Though he is busy with his ongoing project Katamarayudu, Pawan Kalyan is demanding NDA Government to announce special status category for AP, through social media. He requested youth of the state to raise their voice through peaceful protests.
Meanwhile, Pawan made strong remarks on all the North Indian political elites for their ignorance attitude towards south people.
“#APDemandsSpecialStatus, Does the North Indian political elites know! 'How many languages are there in south'? For them we are all Madrasis! The muscle called "Courage"and the qualities -"self-respect, integrity and accountability" are lacking in political class of AP. "Youth of AP" should raise their voice through peaceful protests is the only remedy ,to achieve the promised "SCS",” posted Pawan on his Twitter handle.
Interim, Pawan Kalyan will be releasing a musical protest album Desh Bachao on 24th Jan. “Jana Sena raises its 'Voice against Opportunistic, Divisive and Criminal Politics; through the Protest Musical album "#DeshBachao!",” informs the actor.
While Jallikattu Protests inspired Pawan Kalyan to take up special status issue, Pawan’s words are inspiring youth to take part in agitation to challenge Center over the matter.
