Nagarjuna Invests in Tendulkar's Business

Akkineni Nagarjuna is not just a Superstar of Telugu cinema. He is also a crafty campaigner with shrewd business acumen. Now it is heard that he is all set to join hands with the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Shah Rukh Khan for a new business venture. They are all set to come together to own a racing team. Telugu superstar Nagarjuna and entrepreneur N Prasad, who sold Matrix Laboratories to Mylan, has clinched the franchise deal for Hyderabad. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Sanjana Reddy have bought a share of 26% in the i1 Super Series which is owned by Machadar Sports Company.
The Indian Racing League - called the i1 Super Series - which was launched in August this year, is looking to ride after the huge success of the Formula One Indian Grand Prix. Sources say that the first edition of i1 Super Series will hit the tracks on January 8 and conclude on February 26 2012. The i1 Super Series has a 16 member squad with two cars and they are categorized as eight teams. The races will have the presence of Formula 1 drivers along with Indian drivers and this would be held across various locations such as Delhi, Doha, Bahrain, Kuala Lumpur, Abu Dhabi.
