What truth Maharadhi knows about Aakash, Whether he accepts the love of Aakash and Lovely love forms the rest of the story.
Analysis:
Lovely is a routine love story which revolves around the father-daughter sentiment. The movie depicts on how every father thinks of his daughter when she falls in love with a aimless guy who does petty things for money. Director B Jaya was successful in showcasing the story in a convincing way and she should be lauded for handling it well. The first half of the film is good with some nice comedy episodes and twists. The love angle between The lead pair was shot well and the director has done a fair job.
The second hour of the film slowly looses its tempo and gets sidetracked with unnecessary scenes. But, the director is successful in keeping that on track at the right time and the scenes where Aadi fights with Rahul Dev's goons and the following scene were shot extremely well. The expressions and the way Aadi delivers the dialogues with emotion are top class. However, the film was ended abruptly in a simple manner.
TeluguOne Perspective:
Hero Aadi delivered a commendable performance and is fantastic through out the movie. His energy levels in songs is excellent and if he carries the same passion he will surely reach heights in the near future. He acted with ease and doesn't give an impression that 'Lovely' is his second movie. In some scenes, his mannerisms and body language looks like his dad Sai Kumar. Aadi excelled in dances, emotional, comedy and action scenes. New comer Shanvi made an impressive debut with Lovely and has done justice to her role. Aadi has got able support from Vennela Kishore who does a hilarious role in this film. Chinmayi Ghatrazu is fair and evokes some laughs with her Telangana dialect.
The songs shot in the picturesque locales of Turkey are refreshing. The chasing scene, the marriage episode of Vennela Kishore evokes laughter. Though, the story offers nothing new, the screenplay and presentation made it interesting. After many days, Rajendra Prasad has bagged a decent role and he is very composed through out the film. Overall, 'Lovely' is a decent movie which is laced with all the commercial elements. The film is expected to enthrall youth and family audience.
Performances:
Aadi has justified his tag Lovely Rock Star in this movie and he has once again proved that he is a star material to watch out for. Shanvi is bubbly and has played her part well. Rajendra Prasad is apt in his role and delivered his best performance. Vennela Kishore and Chinmayi Ghatrazu have delivered an impressive performance. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna and Ahuti Prasad are good in the respective roles. Satya Krishnan and Harshavardhan are OK.
Technicalities:
Music by Anup Rubens is good and the re-recording is just OK. Dialogues by Shyam are witty and catchy. Editing by B Jaya could have been better. Cinematography is decent. The production values of RS Cinema are grand.
Final Word: Lovely Review: Go watch it for beautiful father-daughter sentiment and Aadi's brilliant performance.
Lovely Rating: 3 / 5
