Ahead of the film's release, the Animal directed sat down for a playful chat with the team of Devara including NTR, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Koratala Siva. During the fun conversation, the RRR star revealed exciting things about Devara.

During the chat, Vanga asked the team of Devara what was the idea behind the film. Responding to the question, Koratala Siva said, "It's the most ambitious film I have ever made, ambitious in the sense not in terms of scale but in the idea itself. So generally, see, from the inception of commercial cinema, fear is always portrayed as a negative emotion. But sometimes I felt that, you know, when fear is very precious, so everyone needs to have fear."

Koratala Siva added, "Typically, a hero in commercial cinema embodies courage for everyone or a particular group of people, but I wanted him to represent fear. In this world, men don't understand reason; they only respond to fear. So, I envisioned the hero as the embodiment of fear in the film."

NTR added, "In Devara, the characters revere ancestral weapons as if they were village deities. These weapons are extremely valuable to them, and they are willing to go to great lengths to protect them." Speaking about Janhvi Kapoor, he praised, "She was outstanding in Devara. There is a particular scene where she gave an extraordinary performance that left me astonished."
