Rebel Star Prabhas, Director Nag Ashwin’s highly much-awaited global project Kalki 2898 AD is nearing its release and the makers have already began the full fledged promotions.

Prabhas is a superstar and he has a massive craze across India. So, the actor charges whopping amount for every film. So far, news has come out that Prabhas has charged a whopping Rs 150 crore for the film. But now, news has come out that he has charged only 80 crore as his fee. This is quite surprising to know.

But the gossip in the film circles is that Prabhas slashed his fee seeing the massive budget of the film. The makers needed more money for the sets and VFX to create a new world. If the film ends up being a mass hit, the makers will surely give Prabhas a share in their profits, say the reports.

Featuring an ensemble star cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in key roles, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. A multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle set in the future, the film hits the screens on 27th June 2024. We need to see how it performs at the box office.
