Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Kalki 2898 AD is on a record-breaking spree much before this Nag Ashwin directorial venture arrived in cinemas nearly 3 weeks ago. The movie is still making moolah at the box office, even with the new releases.

Lot of Hindu guru's had problems with the film but now it goes to next level. Acharya Pramod Krishnam, president of Kalki Dham, has sent legal notices to the film unit along with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas saying that 'Kalki' has misrepresented Lord Kalki from the scriptures.  

The notice stated that the mother (Deepika Padukone) has hurt the sentiments of hundreds of crores of Hindus by showing that Kalki is going to be born through artificial insemination. He was angry that using Hindu scriptures has become fashionable lately.

The sci-fi actioner Kalki has crossed 1000 crores mark at box office. It is expected to pick up during the fourth weekend, whereas the movie is very steady during the weekdays as well.

This production venture of Vyjayanthi Movies doesn’t seem to slow down and the trade pundits predict the movie with repeat value will have a long run. Kalki is set to break some other records in the coming days.
