Vijay Deverakonda, who presented the award, spoke warmly about Nani. He admitted that he never quite understood why fans refer to their favorite actors as "Anna," but he has now started addressing Nani with that term.

Deverakonda reminisced about their time working together on Yevade Subramanyam, which touched the audience. The two actors embraced each other, underscoring their strong bond despite online controversies and fan disputes.

The event also featured a touching surprise: a video of Nani's son, Arjun, playing a beautiful melody from Hi Nanna on the piano. Nani was deeply moved by this gesture and expressed his gratitude to the SIIMA organizers for such a special tribute.
