I believe audience will enjoy commercial elements in Mr Bachchan: Bhagyashri Borse

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Mass Director Harish Shankar's highly anticipated movie Mr. Bachchan is generating significant buzz with its commercial elements. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the prestigious People Media Factory banner, the film features Bhagyashree Borse opposite Ravi Teja. Mr. Bachchan is slated for release on August 15, Independence Day. In a recent press conference, heroine Bhagyashree Borse shared details about the film.

When did you first become interested in movies, and how did you get involved with Mr. Bachchan?

I’m from Aurangabad, Maharashtra. My father moved to Lagos, Nigeria, for work, where I completed my schooling. Later, I came to Mumbai to pursue business management. During my graduation, many people encouraged me to try modeling, which I thoroughly enjoyed. After gaining confidence in front of the camera, I did some commercials.

While waiting for a promising opportunity, Mr. Bachchan came along. I traveled to Hyderabad for an audition, which the makers liked, leading to my selection for the role of Jikki. When I came in for the look test, I met Ravi Teja.

How was it acting with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in your first film? Did he match his reputation for energy?

I always strive to give my best. Working with Ravi Teja was exhilarating. He has a charming personality and boundless energy.

Can you describe your role in the film?

My character, Jikki, is a Telugu Marwadi girl who is very cute and lovable. The director has crafted this character beautifully. Zikki plays a crucial role in Bachchan's life, and I believe the audience will enjoy the film's commercial elements.

What has been your most memorable moment in this film?

One memorable moment was filming a scene in a cassette recording shop. After the scene, the director told me, "I am proud of you." That moment will stay with me forever.

How did you feel about dubbing for your first Telugu movie?

Since this is my first Telugu film, I wanted my own voice to be used, as it would make the character more relatable. Initially, Telugu dubbing was challenging, but with the support of the direction team, I completed it in about a week. It turned out to be a pleasant experience.

What challenges did you face during the shoot?

Being from the North, understanding Telugu was initially difficult. I translated every dialogue into my mother tongue to understand it better. However, I eventually mastered the language, and it became easier. Telugu is a beautiful language, and I'm trying to learn it thoroughly.

How was it working with Harish Shankar?

Harish Shankar is a passionate director, and working with him was a fun experience. With his and Ravi Teja’s extensive experience, I felt well-supported. Despite being relatively new to films, their support made every scene enjoyable.

What have you learned from Ravi Teja?

Ravi Teja has a wealth of experience but still approaches each project with the enthusiasm of a newcomer. He is always punctual and respectful to everyone on set. From him, I’ve learned the importance of respecting our craft at every stage of our career.

What can you tell us about Mickey J Meyer?

Mickey J Meyer has delivered beautiful songs for the film. Tracks like "Reppal," "Dappul," "Sitar," and "Jikki" have become chartbusters and are widely appreciated. I’m thrilled to have such a fantastic album for my debut film.

Are your dance moments trending in the songs? Did you expect this kind of response?

I love dancing and practice it in my free time. The overwhelming response to my dance moments at the trailer launch event was beyond my expectations. It feels like a dream come true.

What about working with the People Media Factory?

I’m delighted to have made my debut Telugu film with People Media Factory. They are very kind and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. It was a great experience working with them.

Do you consider yourself a national new crush?

Thank you; I appreciate the compliment. (laughs)

What are your upcoming projects?

There are a few projects in the pipeline, and the makers will announce them soon.
