Harish Shankar and Megastar Chiranjeevi: Happening or not?

Harish Shankar is recognized as one of the top writers and directors in Telugu cinema. After taking a long break, his upcoming film "Ustaad Bhagat Singh" faced delays. He attempted to remake "Raid" with Ravi Teja, but the film, titled "Mr. Bachchan," was poorly received. Currently, Shankar is concentrating on "Ustaad Bhagat Singh," with filming set to resume soon.

In an exclusive update from Telugu360, it has been revealed that Harish Shankar is preparing to direct Megastar Chiranjeevi, with the project being produced by DVV Danayya, known for "RRR." Originally, Shankar was slated to direct Chiranjeevi's next film, but that project ultimately went to Mohan Raja, leading to some confusion regarding the new collaboration.

Recently, Shankar and Chiranjeevi worked together on a commercial, which impressed the Megastar enough to offer him a film. Shankar is now focused on developing the script for this exciting project. Danayya has already provided advances to both Chiranjeevi and Shankar to ensure the film's progression.

The project is expected to begin production next year, with an official announcement coming soon. Before teaming up with Harish Shankar, Chiranjeevi is set to complete another film, "Vishwambara," which is currently in its final shooting stages and scheduled for release on January 10, 2025.
